Experiential Anatomy Through Tai Chi Chuan
Experiential Anatomy eBook Cover

My goal with this booklet is to share an approach to Tai Chi Chuan with both those with no or little familiarity with the art and the experienced practitioner. My hope is that those with experience in other movement modalities, or none at, all will be inspired to explore this wonderful art form that is tai chi chuan. For those that are already hooked I hope they will find here some new perspectives that they can take and incorporate into and enrich their current practice.

This fully illustrated booklet contains everything you need to practice and enjoy this extremely simple yet highly beneficial chi kung form, including instructions on breathing and avoiding common errors.

On Repetitions

The Eight Pieces Brocade is usually practiced with eight or nine repetitions of each movement. Combined with the constant bear it is easy to create nice 15 – 25 minutes session of Chi Kung. I suspect the General who originally created the Brocade had his troops do a few more reps. Two or three casual repetitions is an excellent way to relieve and revitalize the body after a long period of sitting. Such as working at a desk or a long commute. Sometimes I’ll hold one posture for an extended period of time and use it for standing meditation
